1. The Soapy Water Test: Never use a lighter, match, or candle to check for gas leaks. Instead, apply a mixture of dish soap and water to the hose and connections. If it forms bubbles, you have a leak.

2. Trust Your Nose: GENUINE Gas has an odorant (mercaptan) so you can smell it. If you notice a distinct, unpleasant sulfur or "rotten egg" smell, take immediate action.

1. Always store and transport gas cylinders upright with the valve facing up to prevent valve damage and unstable gas flow.

2. Never store cylinders in unventilated areas, near extreme heat, or directly in the path of harsh weather (like direct, intense sunlight followed by rain).

3. Keep windows open or use an exhaust fan when cooking with gas.

4. Never leave a burning flame or cooking liquids unattended. Spills can extinguish the flame, resulting in continuous gas release and a massive fire risk.

1. Do NOT ignite anything: Do not light matches, candles, or turn electrical switches (lights, appliances) on or off.

2. Ventilate: Open all doors and windows to let the gas disperse safely.

3. Turn Off Supply: If safe to do so, close the main valve on the gas cylinder.

4. Evacuate: Move to a safe, open distance away from the area and call our customer support number or emergency services.
